Support your Floor™ from The Center for Women’s Fitness
Many times, programs for pelvic floor work rely on the assumption that there is a dysfunction through the pelvic floor and pelvic area. This program looks at creating an environment of health through movement, breath and myofascial release techniques developed by The Center for Women’s Fitness. These techniques are then integrated into your movement sessions.
This program will re-educate you on how to activate your pelvic floor according to its function and integrate this technique with simple exercises that form the foundation of all other classes at The Studio
These techniques will
- Familiarize you with the function of the pelvic floor muscles
- Teach you a breath pattern that coordinates with the contraction and release of the pelvic floor muscles
- Teach you release exercises that will allow for better activation of your pelvic floor muscles.
This preventative program will also inform the pregnant and postnatal client on the ways to prepare for and recover from the birthing experience. It will inform the menopausal client on how to adapt to the changes that are taking place. Plus, it will teach everyone how to use their bodies in a more functional manner.
